Ode to Catalina (Parts I and II)
My Myspace friends are fiercely loyal and I love them for it. They know that I live to be adored and so they acquiesce. A friend of mine recently confided in me that he had been masturbating to the pictures in my Myspace profile and sent me the following, “An Ode to Catalina - Part I” picture:
How flattering! Now at first, I thought — huh, this is kind of weird, right? I mean it’s not every day that a girl gets a picture like this in her inbox. But then I thought about it and I was really, really flattered. I showed my husband, who said, “Oh, that’s not really that uncommon — it’s high praise actually. You should be very proud of that.” Another Myspace friend said, “Yes, of course, I do that for my pets sometimes.”
So I told my friend how much I loved his picture and sent him a picture that isn’t on my Myspace profile. He replied soon with the following, a second “Ode to Catalina”:
Now I can’t wait to see what happens next. Will there be a third Ode to Catalina?
(Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh….. keep this a secret: I hope so!)
