If you’ve looked, then you probably know that it’s extremely difficult to find a good movie that incorporates erotic choking that isn’t creepy. That is why I was so pleasantly surprised to come across It’s a Mommy Thing. (You can watch it, too, for something like $7.95 for 48 hours… and just think, the kids won’t find the DVD in the car and you won’t forget to return it, charging up $85 in late fees that you can’t even argue about because they’re for porn.)

Ok, here’s the thing about it - you have to get past the ugly fake boobs on the protagonist in the first scene. I was watching it, thinking to myself, “wow, what a disappointment” when suddenly I saw him grab a chunk of her hair and pull her headr back, spanking her ass. “Hmmmmm… maybe I’ve been hasty in my judgement.”

Soon, and without warning, his hand reaches around her throat and squeezes while he is fucking her. It’s never disturbing, she never even loses consciousness. It is a nice surprise in what I thought was going to be yet another lame production porno.

The second scene is an even better surprise. A really hot scene between two women and a man. What sets it apart is the dynamic between the two women. They really are into the sub/domme (loving domme) vibe, and while I don’t enjoy being called Mommy by anybody except for my children, I still thought it was incredibly hot and could easily picture myself as the blonde, obviously older and more experienced, actress (Darryl Hanah.)

There is a little something for everyone in this movie. There is plenty of oral, lots and lots of sex in so many positions it will make you scratch your head sometimes [on a side note, I was really turned on by one in particular in the second scene, the threesome scene, where the domme is able to control the orgasm of the submissive woman while she is being fucked... watch it, and I think you'll know what I'm talking about] and even a scene of toe sucking. (Yes, there’s anal, too.)

I was watching it with my husband, who asked me, “Which woman do you see yourself as? The submissive or the dominant?” I considered the question while doing the past-lover flashback, realizing that I always have been domme when it comes to my sexual encounters with women, with the exception of one woman who was 10 years older than I and a hardcore lesbian, and answered confidently, “the domme, and I want to do it again now after watching this movie!” I’m inspired!

As for the third scene? I have no idea… we went off upstairs and snuck in a little grown-up nap.
