In Mz. Berlin’s Myspace profile, Marky D. Sade commented on the picture above: ” You should be painted on the side of a B-52, to remind the boys what they’re fighting for. Good God, you’re breathtaking.”

It’s true. She’s a sexy pin-up girl (and a total dork). She and I have several things in common - we both like cats, corsets, hallucinogenics, and we both had a similar experience when reading, “Different Loving.”

Among other things, I love Mz. Berlin’s curves. Put her in a corset and she has a perfect hourglass figure. Marky D. Sade’s favorite thing — (sorry to objectify you, my friend) — her boobs. In fact, I really, sincerely, genuinely adore Mz. Berlin. She is a full-time fetish model, as well as an actress.

She’s starring in the GwenMedia and John Fitzgerald production of “Sisters”, alongside Madison Young, the kinky girl next door. Mz. Berlin says, “It’s a sick tale of domination, slavery and suffering. (*evil laugh*) In it, I commit the ultimate betrayal.” (hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.)

Mz. Berlin (www.mzberlin.net) is the second of my amazing friends to respond to my silly questions. I made up questions for each one of my friends (January Seraph, Mz. Berlin, Satine Phoenix, Ms. Nikki Nefarious, and Melvin Moten, Jr.) and these are Mz. Berlin’s:

1. Do you drive? What kind of car do you have?
I drive a Civic, but I really want a hot pink mini cooper. Or perhaps a fire engine red mini. My secret fantasy is to have a motorcycle, but I can barely handle a scooter when I’m forced to drive one in key west, so I doubt that will happen. Perhaps I will find a partner who’s willing to put me in a sidecar?

2. What is the view from your computer as you work on this?
I look out over Hollywood. Well, not really. I look out onto a busy street that is a part of Hollywood. But when I walk to get my Chai in the morning I am directly under, and looking at, the famous Hollywood sign. My goal is to have a bungalow a bit bigger than my current one in the Hollywood Hills.

3. What is your favorite cereal?
Captain Crunch if it’s late at night and Shredded Wheat in the morning.

4. When will you be visiting us for a little session with Marky D. Sade?
As soon as humanely possible!! I’d love to take a trip down south. But when will Catalina and Marky be making a trip west? How is fetish con looking this year? Hmmmmm? Let’s work it out!!

5. What is your favorite thing about living in L.A.? What do you miss most about the South?
My favorite thing about living in LA is all of options. I love how fast LA moves and grooves, and all of the options you have every day. I miss fried catfish, gumbo and chicory coffee the most when I think of home. As fabulous as LA is, they still haven’t mastered the art of Cajun cooking!! (Although the Gumbo Pot at the Fairfax Farmer’s Market is pretty close….)

6. In a scene with me, what role do you see yourself in - domme or sub?

7. Do you ever feel resentment from women because of what you do?
Mostly they’re just curious. Whenever I do get negative vibes from women, it’s girls that don’t talk to me. Anyone that spends more than 2 seconds interacting with me knows I’m a total dork. (With killer shoes!)

8. Do you get a lot of fan email? Do you answer it all (yourself?)
I usually get 1-2 notes a day in my regular box. I do answer all of my mail, and have started fun and interesting conversations with people around the world because of it. I really enjoy corresponding with people who are into fetish or just curious and love exchanging ideas. Sometimes, I get a bit back logged with notes, but I try to answer all of them.

9. One thing has to go to save your life - your cell phone or your laptop - which one is it and why?
I don’t have a laptop. My weapon of choice is an Apple desktop. So, it would have to be my cell phone. With all the traveling I do and all the time I spend in my car, my cell is my link to my life. It keeps me in constant contact with the people I love and tolerate.

10. What did you do for your last birthday? Did you have cake? What flavor? Do you always have a special birthday dinner?
For my last birthday I went to the Cemetery Screening at Hollywood Forever of Harold and Maude. It is my favorite movie of all time, and they only show movies once. I went with my wife, Angel, my best friend Jen Sincero, my good friend Kat, my sort of slave, Bradley, and my best friend who is a guy, Brandon J. Christopher. (These are the people I would call from the cell phone!) We had wine, cheese, fruit and cupcakes. I wore a tiara. I personally like Red Velvet Cake with cream cheese icing and I ALWAYS wear a tiara and heels on my birthday. After the movie played, someone in the neighborhood set off a beautiful fireworks display. The night was perfect.

11. What did you want to be when you were a little girl?
An assassin. Is that weird or what?

12. How accurate do you think is the perception that women in the sex industry are working to pay for their next fix? Do you see substance abuse as rampant as the stereotype is? (I think popular perception is that everyone is wacked out on drugs all the time.)
I don’t think that drug use among the ladies that I encounter in the sex industry is any higher than those I encounter in the Burning Man community. A lot of them smoke pot (which is legal in CA) and occasionally they might have a crazy weekend on ecstasy. As far as hard-core drug abuse, I don’t see much of it.

13. Do you find that people expect you to be “on” all the time - sexually?
I don’t know what people expect of me.

14. Do you have to buy the clothes that you model in, are they provided for you, and if they are, do you get to keep them? Your wardrobe must be afuckinmazing.
Most of my clothing has been purchased by me or has been a gift. I’m a very lucky girl! My wardrobe has a lot of good staple pieces and I’m building it all the time. I look for vintage items at various stores in LA and SF, and I love the dresses from Trashy Diva in New Orleans. Chantal makes the prettiest larger-sized bras and Miss Sue Nice makes beautiful corsets.

15. What’s your idea of a perfect Saturday - no limits - anything you want.
I’d wake up, take a bath while smoking a cigarette and drinking a Starbucks Chai Latte (no fat, no water, no foam) that’s been delivered to me bath side. Then I’d put on my favorite corset and dress, along with heels and stockings and head out to Pasadena with my mad scientist to look at antiques and books after having breakfast sandwiches and organic fresh squeezed orange juice. This would be followed by a nap at my place, then an afternoon sensory dep experience at the hands of my tormentor before going out for dinner somewhere overlooking the ocean. I would then be chained into bed and we would watch a movie. (Right now we’re studying noir…)
