My toys arrived! I’m really excited. It’s normally a very good day when UPS shows up at your door, but when that hot man in the uniform knocked on my door today, I knew that he was bringing me my new sex toys from VibeReview.com. I was kind of hoping he would have some idea what was in the box, but as it turns out, the box was very discreetly packaged and I’m certain he was clueless. For all he knew, I was getting my new Tupperware.

Being a mom, I immediately asked my teenager to put her little sister down for a nap and took my Marky into the bedroom to open the box with me. Together, we took a look at all the new sex toys and decided which to try out first, and then … an hour and two orgasms later, here are my first impressions:

The Silver Bullet was as expected (I didn’t have any batteries handy, so it will have to wait). It’s nice to have a good quality silver bullet. They are so versatile. The Silver Bullet is a standard of any self-respecting woman’s toolbox.

Next, I opened the Flame Harness Kit (strap-on). I’m so excited about the Flame Harness Kit because I use a strap-on frequently on my subs. It is really nice to have something new to try out. I’ve never really found a strap-on that I truly love, so I’m hoping this one is the one! One thing I can already say I like about it is the little bullet that’s tucked nicely in the harness. Again, batteries…

The Leg Harness with Dildo is just that. No surprises (and no batteries necessary, yay!) It’s a really nice quality neoprene sleeve with an opening for the flare-base dildo that comes with it. One thing I noted right away that I think is very nifty: the dildo that comes with the strap-on harness and the dildo that comes with the leg harness are interchangeable.

The Pandora was out of it’s packaging in seconds. I was really excited that it was ready to go right out of the box. I’m not going to say more about the Pandora because you can read all about it on New Toy Tuesday next week. It is the first of the toys to be reviewed for my blog. I will say that it will be used many times between now and then, for research, folks. Really. Anything for the sake of good journalism.

The Japanese G-Spot Squirmy is the most intimidating of all of the toys, even though it’s maybe the most old-school of them. It reminds me of my Mom’s vibrator - a pink vibrator with a little rabbit - but Mom’s vibrator didn’t have this fantastic G-spot stimulation. There are separate controls for speed and rotation, which I’m sure Marky will enjoy testing out on me. One added benefit that I saw right away from the box is that it’s waterproof. So maybe we’ll take it in the shower and try something different.

I was pretty excited to see that the G-Twist Vibe came with batteries and that Marky could finally figure out how to get them installed. It even had a little sample of lube inside of the very groovy box, which made me feel like I should be shopping in an IKEA store. You’ve got to give it to the Germans… they know sex! and they know sex toys! I had to use it right away. I won’t give up the news quite yet - keep reading and I’ll post a full review with the details.
