Catalina Loves

I received two new books today from Seal Press to review and I couldn’t be more excited! It seems like I don’t put my hands on enough books these days. It’s not that I don’t read much anymore - quite the contrary, in fact. I find myself reading all day long - news, reviews, blogs, emails, press releases, profiles… but to sit and read a book has become a luxury to me.

As I write this, all I can think about is ripping into the copy of Dirty Girls, Erotica for Women that is sitting in front of me. I haven’t even started to read it, but I peeked at the table of contents and I’m liking what I see! An anthology of short stories is perfect for me. I really like to read a variety of stories rather than an erotic novel. I’m one of those ADD kind of people who (shiny shiny….)

The other book is Getting Off: A Woman’s Guide to Masturbation, and already I’m interested - did you know about the AFE zone, aka the “A-spot”? Neither did I! I still don’t, but I’m going to as soon as I read this book. I’m a fan of masturbation, as I’m sure you already figured out through my blogs, so I’m psyched to see a book on the topic. I don’t think I’ve ever read a book devoted to women getting themselves off. Hooray!
