Catalina loves Vibrators (A Review of the G Twist)

It’s New Toy Tuesday again — that means it’s time for another toy review. This week it’s the G Twist, a g-spot vibrator with clitoral stimulation. My first impressions of the G Twist were written in a previous post:
I was pretty excited to see that the G-Twist Vibe came with batteries and that Marky could finally figure out how to get them installed. It even had a little sample of lube inside of the very groovy box, which made me feel like I should be shopping in an IKEA store. You’ve got to give it to the Germans… they know sex! and they know sex toys!
Immediately after writing that, I used it for the first time. Marky likes a little show, so I put one on. I took off my clothes, laid back, and let him watch as I played with myself until I came. That was the first of many, many, many (Many!) G Twist induced orgasms. I’m pretty sure I have researched this product thoroughly ;-)
This is my new favorite vibrator ever! It is called the G-Twist and it’s available through VibeReview.com. It hasn’t spent much time in my toybox - I like to keep it handy right there next to me.
This vibrator gives masturbation a new name. I am a fan of masturbation, obviously, but usually I just grab my good old Hitachi Magic Wand (it never fails me) and the G-spot attachment. Since receiving the G Twist in the mail though, I haven’t gotten out my Hitachi once! Don’t get me wrong, there’s still a place in my heart (and between my legs) for the Hitachi, but when I find a new toy that I love, I have to make it my friend.
The G Twist is made by Fun Factory. Take a look at their line, if you aren’t familiar with it. They make quality sex toys at an affordable price. Other products in their product line that I’m looking forward to trying are the Stubby G, The Heartbreaker, The Gigolo, and Patchy Paul. It is made of medical-grade silicone and phthalate-free materials (that means you need to use a water-based lubricant). I really like the material, actually. It’s soft, it feels nice, and it doesn’t taste icky.
Enough about the technical specs — on to the details! As you can see, the G Twist has a little bendy shape at the tip which is perfect for hitting the G-spot just right. There is a little dial at the bottom that you can easily adjust while using. If I had one complaint, it would be that the dial is so sensitive that sometimes I find myself almost there and then bump the dial and lose the intensity. However, I prefer the little dial on the end to the push-button system that some vibes use.
The nub at the base is designed to provide clitoral stimulation, but my clit must be in the wrong place, because it doesn’t really do that for me. That doesn’t seem to really matter though, since I still quite easily achieve orgasm with this vibe. The G-spot stimulation alone is enough to make it happen for me. Having said that, I will mention that I used the tip of this vibe on my clit once while having sex with Marky D. Sade. I was on top and I just wasn’t quite getting there, so I stuck just the tip between he and I and within minutes I was in orgasm heaven.
Did I mention that I love this vibe? It’s practically perfect in every way. It’s even splashproof (not waterproof), which is a good thing, because this vibe actually makes me squirt a little when I use it. Now you know you’ve got a good g-spot vibe when that happens!! For the love of all things good and holy, buy one of these vibrators for yourself (or your partner). I give it my Catalina Seal of Approval. There is no way you could be disappointed in it.
Don’t forget to check out Odysseus and Penelope’s toy reviews. They have different toys than I do and maybe you’ll find something there that you like, too.
