Catalina loves MrandMrsKink.com (Fuck Wordpress)

Cross-Posted From Mr. and Mrs. Kink’s former home on Wordpress.com

WordPress.com pisses me off daily.  I am so pissed right now that I’m considering taking another valium.  Or just shutting down the whole thing and saying fuck it.

Why?

Censorship.

WordPress.com has started censoring links just like Myspace did before they went all Nazi.  So any of my sites that are currently hosted on WordPress (this one, This Week In Kink, and The Good Things List) are fucked up.  Some links work, some links don’t.  It’s at their whim.

This is a major inconvenience as I move them to our new hosting site (Exjinn Networks rocks!) because I lose image files, blogrolls, and other things that I’ve put months worth of time and energy into only to re-do it again, ’cause I have all kinds of free fucking time.

So please direct your Mr. and Mrs. Kink bookmarks to its new home:

MrandMrsKink.com

We’ll unpack shortly.  It’s not a total disaster, but please excuse the nailgun in the middle of the floor.

We’ll also be moving This Week In Kink and The Good Things List shortly, so keep an eye out for more on this topic.

As for WordPress.com ?!  Fuck you, you Nazi motherfuckers!

  1. ~~Probably a good time for me to go on “Staycation”!
I’ll be catching up with you.

    (Spank*! Take that Wordpress>>>>>outtahere!)

  2. It’s almost good as new, in fact better since I own the domain and Wordpress can’t tell me I’m naughty. I’m sure someone else will try to censor me again… it is the USA afterall, where we have the right to (freely censored) speech.

  3. I just opened up a WordPress account, but haven’t posted anything there yet. Although it’s probably no great consolation, I appreciate you posting this–it’ll save me the same kind of frustation that caused me to close down my LiveJournal account back when. Any thoughts on Blogspot?

  4. Cadence,
I actually have no idea if Blogspot censors or not, but I do know that on some blogs you have to click a “yes, I’m over 18″ button or a “no, get me out of here” button… truly the best option is to pay the $20 or so to buy it (the domain name) and then the $25.00/year to host it at Exjinn. Then you have total and complete autonomy (well, as close as you can get under the Bush Administration)
    xo,
    Catalina
