What do you do when one of the finest toy companies in the world contacts you and asks if you’d be interested in reviewing one of their products? You go straight to Lelo.com and you pick out the toy you’d like to review!
Lelo.com has the highest reputation in my circle of friends, reviewers, and bloggers. Everyone I know gushes over Lelo’s reputation. Their toys are discreet, pretty, well-designed, and they do what they claim to do! They also all come really nicely packaged, come with a nice silk bag to keep your toy discreet (not to mention keep the fuzzies away!), and they are rechargeable. The last is a moot point for what I chose - it’s not battery operated, but user powered! I chose the LUNA Bead System. I have never seen anything like them and I haven’t even seen reviews of them, so I was excited to try out something totally new.
Recently, my blogger buddy, Scarlet, posted a review of The Nea by Lelo.com and Essin’ Em posted her reviews of The Liv and The Lily. You can also find my review of the other Lelo product I’ve personally put to the test, The Iris, on CatalinaLoves.com. The Luna Beads are very different. They aren’t a sex toy, per se, though they certainly do provide pleasure. They are designed to positively reinforce doing your exercises.
Yes, we all know we should do Kegel exercises (ladies, you know this is true… squeeze and release, picture an elevator and squeeze a little tighter to go up to the next floor, stop your urine flow while you pee several times… we’ve heard it over and over). Who really does it like you’re supposed to, often and consistently? I do them when I think of it. I’m doing them now! But let me assure you, if you have the incentive of pleasure to back it up, you’ll happily do them every half an hour like you should. What? You want me to feel good while exercising my pubbocoxygennus muscle? I’ll be happy to give that a try! What woman my age with two children wouldn’t want to?
The details are easy - you receive two sets of weighted balls. It’s a muscle training system, remember, so you may want to begin with just one ball of the smallest weight (1 oz). When you are ready to move to the next level of resistance, you can add a second ball of that same size by using their plastic connector (girdle). When you are ready to bump up another notch, you can take one of the 1 oz balls out and replace it with a 1.3 oz ball. Same size, just greater density. Finally, when you are strong and mighty, you can use both of the 1.3 oz balls.
The work is fun! I received this product about a month ago and used it faithfully every day, working my way up to using both of the 1.3 oz. balls at once. Never once did they feel uncomfortable or weird inside my body, instead I found that doing my Kegels every day was no longer another chore on my task list or my workout schedule. The pleasure payoff makes it less an exercise and more an indulgence.
The result, I’m happy to announce, is obvious to my partner. We actually discussed it while having sex - well, it wasn’t as much a formal discussion as much as him commenting on how tight I felt and how he could noticeably feel me squeezing him harder with my muscles (yes, that’s the cleaned up PG version). As for my own personal experience, I can attest to a more intense orgasm. I have found that the more I’ve exercised and toned my muscles, the easier it has been for me to have G-spot orgasms as I tighten my muscles during sex (and hopefully I won’t be incontinent when I’m an old purple-wearing lady from all this exercise!)
I absolutely recommend the Luna Beads System by Lelo.com to women of all ages, shapes, and sizes. I don’t think it matters if you’ve never had children or if you’ve had five. I think the only consumer that this product isn’t intended for is men.
For men, a bit of advice - if you are looking for a really nice, discreet, classy something for your girlfriend or partner, then by all means - go to Lelo.com and pick something out. You really can’t go wrong with a Lelo.
How fantastic! I knew these would be great (they’re made by Lelo after all), but that you actually can feel the results already is wonderful. I -need- to get my hands on some of these! My Lelo addiction is raging today. Hehe.
Yeah, really - I would say one solid month of consistent use and you’ll definitely notice a difference. Consistent use isn’t an issue when it’s a matter of pleasure, now is it? :)
I know what you mean about Lelo products. I’m dying to try out something like the Nea. I have a dildo, I have the beads, I’d like to try the unique shaped products. That and the Ella, which was just brought to my attention recently look very tempting!
